The LiquaSoft Philosphy

We think deeply about simple things.
We have spent fifteen years thinking, researching and building applications. We have spent ten years designing web sites and looking at the directions that the world wide web has taken. From this we decided:
  • The technical skill to get on the web, besides preparing images (which is needed for print media) should be no greater than generating an email with an attachment.
  • There is no technical reason a company need to understand anything beyound basic marketing pricinples and web search to have an effective web presence.
  • If it a commercial site and does not make good business sense then everyone is wasting their time.
  • A tool doesn’t have to do everything, it just needs to meet the business need.
  • If you can’t customize a tool to fit your business it will be obsolete before it comes out of the shrink wrap.
  • That this isn’t like rocket science, but more like an automobile. Sometimes you might need a mechanic but most of the time you should be able to step on the gas to get where you want to go.
  • If it doesn’t facilitate commerce or offer information then most likely it does not belong on a commercial site.
  • If we put it in a database from the start, we will not have to put it in the database later.
  • And that we hate to make manual updates, so let’s just automate it from the beginning and save all involved the inevitable pain.
After fifteen years worth of projects we only want to work on projects that have real value to you and your customers. Anything else is wasting your time and ours.
It’s our world wide web. It’s our information super highway and lets not clutter it up. There is a reason it became ubiqitous, because it was simple, elegant and made of lowest common denominator type blocks.
